Druids Forest by CLMac Druids Forest by CLMac
Kiriban prize for my friend :iconcookychristina:

She wanted a surprise so I chose to do her D&D character Escabeth (a druid) kicking some Necromancer arse. (Plus her wolfie <3) He needs to get out of her area.
Okay I did almost the entire thing like months ago but yeah, just procrastinated on the necro.. sorry T^T

Really like the colors in the pic as well as the armor design on the druid character.

Thanks, it was quite the experiment at the time :)

The colour scheme is lovely.
Those skeletons. I cannot believe it.
It is ever so difficult to draw them, but you just did it.
Like that. So full of wow.
I like how you can draw people interacting with each other in some way in your drawings.
They look quite natural.

Lol well umm I used to be a med student so I became quite acquainted with bone structure.

And thank you dear! That is quite the compliment  I am glad of all things, the character interactions appear natural!

You're welcome.
I plan to take medicine too, but I am not sure if I can yet.

I didn't think it looked too bad myself until I saw this [link]

Oh, wow! The colors and details are so... incredible. I love it.

I suppose the one thing that I would suggest is that the glow right around the lightning seems a little too black in places; perhaps a more saturated color would allow it to stand out without getting so dark?

Overall, I am simply amazed. I'm going to sit in the corner for a while and observe the different textures to see how you did this...

Thank you!

Ah yes, I see what you mean. A slight problem with that is that is the ONE THING I cheated with on this painting. I used umm a layer trick to make the lightning pop a little more. Unfortunately that meant too opaque black on some parts. I forget what the actual thing is called. I was just being lazy haha xD Thanks for noticing that even though I hoped no one would lol

Awww, I hope you figure it out! What I do isn't actually very complex! (But seriously, if you ever have questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Don't know how swiftly I might reply but reply I shall!)
